Forty years ago, I happened to pass a shop window displaying a log cabin quilt and the rest is history. Many, many quilts later,

I still have thousands of ideas in my head anxious to come to life in fabric.

I tend to use many different techniques – including collage, patchwork, and appli-
piecing – and have yet to tire of any one particular method. I have won a number of
ribbons around the country and Klaudeen Hansen featured one of my pieces in the
2016 Quilt Engagement Calendar.

My website includes bed quilts and modern wall pieces for sale, but I do take
commissions as well. The largest commission to date was 11 feet by 8 feet for a family in South Carolina.

I live in Cincinnati and Asheville with my husband (a quilt widower) and my dog Una. When I am not sewing, we like to walk in the Scottish Highlands.
